Two New Escrow Officers and a Title Officer Join Western Title

Western Title is pleased to announce three new employees joining the ranks. Our newest members to the family include Sherry Ackermann, Wendy Dunbar, and Judson Klinger.

Klinger (center below) has joined the Reno Kietzke office as a title officer. He will aid in running title and preliminary reports.

Ackermann (left below) and Dunbar (right below) are at the Gardnerville office as Escrow officers, joining Traci Adams and Anu Jansse.

Having lived in Douglas County since 1978, Sherry Ackermann started in the title industry in 1993. She has worked in the title department as a typist, customer service rep, recorder and junior title officer. She moved on to business development and human resources for several years. Eight years ago, she moved into escrow. She has been working with Wendy Dunbar for 18 years. They have been working together as a team for the past 8 years. When not working Sherry enjoys spending time with her family and watching her son’s sporting events.

Wendy Dunbar started her career as a title assistant with Stewart Title in 1998.  She became an escrow assistant in 2002 and was promoted to escrow officer in 2007. A native to Nevada, Wendy was born and raised in Gardnerville. She has been married to her husband Jay for 12 years.  They have two children.  Alysse, 13 and Cash is 9 years old. She spends most of her free time at her children’s dirt bike races, basketball, and volleyball games, and enjoys camping and drinking unbelievable amounts of Starbucks coffee!
